I live in Vicksburg. I am here because of the power outage. I would highly recommend this hotel.
The history of the Civil War is the thing we will remember the most. We learned so much that you just don't get in school. I think a highlight was the museum down town that is curated by Charles. This whole town should be on everyone's bucket list!

Our Vicksburg visit was great. We toured the battlefield with a personal guide; ate at 10 South Rooftop Restaurant which had awesome food, panoramic views, and a great staff; visited the Army Corps of Engineers facility; and took a walking tour of downtown Vicksburg (Haunted Vicksburg ghost tour).
