The Breckenridge center point is around the area of Stonehenge and the area of Downtown Breckenridge.
A mountain town for all seasons. For the ones who love to ski, snowshoe or cross country in the winter, bike or go horseback riding in the spring and summer or try Kayaking and fly fishing. This town has something for everyone. They even provide golfers the world's only 27 hole. I personally like to just take a walk through Breck with its many boutiques and souvenir stores.
Breckenridge does host several large events each year, so when these are going on, the hotel rates increase quite a bit. The Breckenridge Festival of Film is one of the events, which has been going on every September since 1981. The Backcountry Film Festival and the Ullr Fest, a week the honors the Norse god Ullr, also draw crowds of visitors each January. The large ski resort makes this a popular winter vacation destination, while the summer activities and events can also impact hotel prices.
The climate in Breckenridge includes very cold winters, with average lows in the single digits, and cool summers with high temperatures that rarely go above 71 degrees. If you're interested in learning more about area's history, pay a visit to the log cabin where Edwin Carter, an early prospector, lived in the late 19th century. The Breckenridge Heritage Alliance recently renovated the cabin to include a short film about Carter's life and interactive exhibits.

We aren't skiers but still enjoyed our stay. We did a two hour guided snowmobile trip which was awesome! We also enjoyed the different choices of restaurants!

The City of Vail has an adorable shopping village and an epic ski resort! There's plenty to do for the whole family. Our corporate group even threw some axes at Wood & Steel Axe CO. and that was amazing!

There is more to do in Breckenridge than just skiing. The city has some amazing hiking trails and nature walks too.
Take a step back in time as you walk along Main Street, passing old buildings, some over 100 years old. Brecks historic Main Street is well worth a visit. Explore the towns restaurants, shopping spots and nightlife. From ski shops to art galleries and boutiques you can find something for everyone in Breckenridge. They have so much to offer off the mountain or on its 155 trails. This town earns high praise as Colorado's best overall ski town but also offers a lot to do during the summer months.
