We came to go to a concert at The Anvil. We also had a great lunch at The Cosy Club. The Red Lion Hotel was very good.
The train station is very close to the hotel however I didn't get to see Basingstoke as I was here on business.
I loved the people and just the history behind it (and all of England, by the way). Not much more you really need for such a lovely place. I will have to also say Alpha Cars was incredible, this taxi company was on time, courteous and just pleasant.
