The city reminded me of a small beach town.
The location was convenient, close to a dollar general, Zack's (delicious meal), ice cream and desserts and the hidden gem of a second hand store.

The ocean and the shore atmosphere. And of course the seafood which is the best.

The nature preserve seems like the main reason to be here. The city is not very attractive.

Went all over the island. Went through Assateaque..saw the ponies and lighthouse. Beautiful scenery. I grew up on the Eastern Shore, now I love in Southern California. This is my happy place!

The shopping, Bill's restaurant, Mr. Whippys! Everywhere we went the staff was so nice and the town was so clean. Highly recommend!

We've been coming to Chincoteague for years because of the family atmosphere and the great places to eat like Ray's Shanty and The Island Creamery.
The city is quaint and the people are always friendly.

Chincoteague has such charm. It's the perfect size for a few days but there always seems to be more to see every time we go!!

We love Chincoteaque and go there often. The town is family oriented, people are nice, and the beaches are wonderful
A lot of activities for children such as the water park and the carnival; enjoyed the restaurants and shops in the area; found an excellent frame shop on Main Street.
