I like the food choices there. They have a Golden Corral which I do not have where I live. Texas Roadhouse is great in Cookeville, better than the one I have in Statesboro Georgia although its not badby any means, but Cookevilles is great and, always very packed. Parking is hard to find at Cookevilles Texas Roadhouse. Cookeville is also fairly close to alot of waterfalls and parks. Burgess Falls is one of my favorites. For ice cream, you cannot beat The Lazy Cow Creamery. Awesome ice cream. But, parking can get limited, they are just that good. The fairgrounds also have alot of events at certain times. The county fair is always good as well as the peach festival. Cookeville is a really nice town, a bit crowded with traffic but, still really nice place.
