Scenic View Park features a new playground with a pirate theme, a beach, a picnic area, and a footbridge that leads to Casino Island. Nearby, you'll find the Carnegie Bay Walking Trail, which covers 2.5 miles and reveals a variety of wildlife, and the River Walk, which provides stunning views of the St. Lawrence. Wellesley Island State Park, the largest state park in the area, offers golf, swimming, fishing, and camping, lots of trails, and the Minna Anthony Common Nature Center.

Area was very slow in late September! We found one good restaurant open within walking distance. I'm sure it is hopping in the summer!
