The Vaughan-Smitherman Museum is also worth a visit during a trip to Selma. The building was built in 1874 by the Selma Masonic Order as a university building. You cannot visit Selma without crossing the Edmund Pettus Bridge. There are also several museums dedicated to the history of this city. A memorable experience for sure.
