"We came to Holtville for the Careot festival"

We came to Holtville for the Careot festival, which was wonderful. Great parade. We visited the sand dunes at Glamis and drove around farm country to do some birding and photography. We found rare Monk Parakeets on the BW resort grounds, which was unexpected. Dining options in Holtville are quite limited but the 1905 Bar and Grill in Imperial was great.
