The City of Meadville was pleasant, friendly, and they had several nice places to eat and a variety of hotels. I ate at Cracker Barrel. The staff was GREAT and the food was really good as well. I met some very nice customers in the restaurant.

Close to the hotel is a paved, five mile walking trail. I was not interested in shopping, so walking my dog along the trail was a definitely a plus.
