It is a great "old" town with lots of history, I was born there, now when I come back I need to stay in a hotel. :)
It's nice.
We had cousins around and spent time at a restaurant right on the grounds of the hotel. We went to Ponderosa too. We had family reunions in Vandalia in the past too. We were at the golf course for the reunion and were there two years ago
This hotel is right next to a Walmart. Very convenient.
The Blind Society Restaurant has very good food and nice ambiance!! Was really charming.
Great town. Very historic.
Location was nice for being on the road. The next day of travel benefitted from being out of St Louis traffic the next morning.
