The Historic Brook Forest Inn ~ Spa, in its early days, was known as the elite destination by many Denverites. They often traveled the thirty-five miles by horse and buggy. Some of the elite included President Harry S. Truman, Liberace, Molly Brown, the Boecher’s and many others. As a result of the many worldly stories, legend has it that there were secret meetings of Nazi gatherings, gold hidden in the walls and ghosts of a stable hand and a chamber maid.
