An elegant National Historic Landmark restored by Historic Annapolis Foundation, the William Paca House was one of the first five-part Georgian homes in Annapolis. Paca was one of the four Declaration of Independence signers from Maryland and was governor of Maryland from 1782 to 1785. After being sold in 1780, the house became a part of Carvel Hall, one of the citys most popular hotels during the 20th century. Guided tours of the house take place hourly.
