We stayed two nights at the SpringHill Suites and we will definitely return. The staff was super friendly at check-in, the rooms were very clean and the bedding smelled fresh. The beds were very comfortable.
The layout in the room was nice. There are two separate bathroom areas - one that has a toilet and a sink and the other has a walk-in shower and a sink. The only quirky thing is that neither bathroom door locks. We called the front desk asking how to lock the doors and they simply said, "They don't lock." Found that very inconvenient, especially travelling with a three year old who loves opening doors. Also, not having a bathtub when travelling with a younger child was tough. It's too bad that there isn't more room in the 'water closet' to get ready. There is ample room in the shower room, but with a glass-enclosed shower, it lacks privacy. It's not the kind of 'suite' we're used to, but it did us well for this family trip. There is also a huge walk-in closet which was a nice touch. For the hotel being completely full, it was very quiet in our room.
The pool area was nice, albeit a little small. Got crowded our first night. I don't think the hotel was prepared for as many guests as they had the first night (long weekend), because breakfast was crazy busy and the food was not being replenished quickly enough. Everything ran much smoother the next day when it wasn't as busy. Front lobby area is very nice. Location is nice and close to many of the places we wanted to visit. « less

I was pleasantly surprised with this hotel. It is very reasonably priced and the rooms are very modern, clean, and very well thought out. The suite has a little sitting area and the television can be rotated to be veiwed from the sitting area or the bed (which has a desk in between if you have any work that you need to do). Rooms aren't overly large but very comfortable. Breakfast included eggs, sausage, and all sorts of other breakfast items; not your typical danish in a plastic sleeve that has a 6 month shelf life that other hotels offer. Pool area was very busy but looked very inviting. I would definitely stay here again. « less

I think this hotel is very nice and modern in their decor. The check in area is beautiful, the rooms are beautiful and I think the price is fair especially for the size and set up that you get. The staff is fairly friendly but sometimes lack a personable approach-being too professional comes off a bit cold to customers. Small details need to be addressed. The bathroom set up is neat but not very convenient, I thought it was a cool set up till I caught myself walking back and forth between the two trying to get ready in the morning. Maybe if the lighting in the shower area could be a bit brighter/adjustable (the toilet area was brighter for makeup application but lacked the counter space). The coffee area was also nice to have but my packages and cups were already opened...yuck. Adding some tea bags for non coffee drinkers too would also be nice. Another detail I wanted to mention is, ALL hard/shiny surfaces should be wiped down, not just the bathrooms or desktops. The divider that separates the beds from the "office" was gross-I just happened to be sitting at the right angle to see dirty hand print smudges on the bedroom side! It was the same issue when I went to my coworkers room before we left because I was looking for it. That's not something I'd like to see when I'm hoping that the room I'm staying in is somewhat sanitized after another customer stayed there. It makes me question if the rest of the room is really as clean as I initially thought by first glance. The complaints about the frosted washroom doors being to bright can probably be solved by funky appliqué's to keep the light from escaping. Unless your budget allows for replacing all the doors. Lastly-I'm not a fan of the breakfast foods, the eggs were awful and I didn't see any bacon so I settled for sausage which I'm not a fan of but had to eat! Lunch was amazing however and I was impressed with the food.
This is my view as a customer-small details really do count as petty as they may seem. Most can be easily addressed during a daily meeting as they could be the deciding factor of if someone would return or not. « less
