When to Visit Vaughan, ON

If you're looking for the best time to visit Vaughan, consider late spring or early fall. Head to Vaughan in April or May and you'll enjoy pleasant temperatures without having to fight the summer crowds. While summer might be short in Vaughan, it's also very popular. Between June and August, plenty of visitors come to the area to experience the festivals and outdoor recreational activities.

The warm weather sticks around just a little longer in the fall. Average high temperatures in September are in the upper 60 degrees Fahrenheit, and by October they start to drop to the mid-50s. However, if you're looking for a deal, this is a good time to visit. The summer crowds have gone home and hotels typically drop rates to help deal with the slump.

November through March brings biting winds, frigid temperatures, and plenty of snow. That said, if you pack a warm jacket and can handle these wintry conditions, you'll be rewarded with some significant savings on your hotel room. Plus, since the area knows how to handle this weather, you'll still find plenty of attractions and special events worth checking out.

Spent the day at Wonderland which was great.

Elizabeth F., from 25-Aug-2014
"Not exciting"
Score 5.0 / 5

Nothing. Same goes about the entire Greater Toronto. It looks like a giant wasteland. By driving along the streets, you don't see any restaurants, shops, public services; just offices, banks, hotels and construction sites. The only public swimming pool was in another city 25 km away. We did not see a single major chain grocery store, not even a MacDonald's. How do they live there?
