Our fitness center is open from the time you wake up until 10pm. Your room key gives access to the facilites as early as 6am. The room is well equipped
with over 2000 lbs of free weights. Hit the aerobic machines for a quick 30 minute cardiovascular workout, or
for the more indrustrious person, take advantage of our complete barbell set. A water station and remote control
television is also provided for our guests to enjoy. Finish off the
morning with a few laps in our private heated pool and erase the tension in our jacuzzi. With over 340 days of sunshine a year, lounging in the warm southern California sun is the perfect way to unwind from a hectic schedule.
Our modern meeting room is perfect from a simple business meeting or an extravigant presentation. The room has a capacity to seat up to 75 persons in a
classroom setting, and up to 50 people with tables. High speed internet ports give you the power to operate your
presentations from your office. The hotel also furnishes a digital projector, easels and wipeboards, overhead projectors with a drop down screen. This room is perfect for small banquets and parties. An oak dance floor and kitchenette is included in the room and private his and her rest
rooms. Off hour pool use can also be arranged for outdoor parties.

Everything was great! I read a lot of reviews of San Clemente hotels/inns, and chose this location because of Tripadvisor reviews. The location was exactly what we wanted, just 2 short blocks from the sand, and walking distance (approx a mile) to downtown. There's a very nice beach trail that takes you to the pier (about 30 min) which we walked. The room seemed to be recently remodeled, and quiet. Swimming pool was really warm, which I appreciated. I was lucky enough to have it to myself, in the evening. I would recommend this hotel whole heartedly! « less

The beach trail is relatively new, built about 3 years ago now, and is a great addition to our city. We stayed here because we were attending a wedding in San Clemente/Laguna Beach. We chose this hotel because we were on a budget and also because it was pet friendly. The hotel was fine for what we needed. Definitely not luxury by any means, but it works. The bed was pretty big and comfy from what I remember, bathroom was spacious . They put us in a room right next to the laundry room on the first floor, which I wasn't too happy about because as you can imagine it was busy every day with the maids changing sheets etc. BUT that wasn't a deal breaker. What annoyed us most was the loud, drunk guests that were staying there for another wedding. They were wandering around the hotel grounds with open containers and yelling at all hours. They were told multiple times to be quiet but did not listen and I believe the cops were even called! The next day at check out, a few guests including us complained about it. They did the right thing and comped us for our stay that night, and also gave us a free night when we come back. We will most likely be returning to San Clemente every year since my in-laws have a time share up the road, not too sure if we'll return here or not. We may give it one more shot since we were given a free night and if we're unhappy again we will not return.. « less

Dear Guest, Unfortunately there are those times when noisy guests can ruin the stay of others. We do try hard to maintain a quiet atmosphere at the hotel and are trying to impliment new strategies to keep those guests quieter. We hope you return and use your voucher for a free night. I recommend staying in one of our Deluxe rooms, these rooms are larger, have a large jetted tub, and have upgraded furnishings for your comfort.

I recently checked into the Casablanca Inn to attend a wedding in San Clemente. Soon after my arrival to California, my wallet was stolen and inside of it was my id, money, and credit cards. I was able to get a ride to the hotel and when I arrived I learned I would have to drive 35 mins back to the town where my wallet was stolen in order to file a police report to be able to board my flight later that weekend. Desperate and upset, the friendly General Manager at the Casablanca Inn recognized that I was in a jam and offered to drive me to and from the police station in order to file my claim. The general manager went above and beyond what he needed to do to make my stay in California pleasant and I wouldn't have been able to fully enjoy my trip without his help. In addition to the wonderful staff, the hotel was clean, affordable, and an easy walk to the beach and into town. « less

However, my shower did not work! I had to bath in a cold trickle from the shower head. :( « less

Dear guest, We apologize about the inconvenience with the shower. Those tubs can be tricky to operate, I do not think the company we contracted to install the shower controls realized how difficult they can be to operate. We did check to ensure the shower was operational, and what we found was the control valve that switches the water from the tub to the shower was in a neutral position and stopping all water from coming out. We are happy to hear you enjoyed the rest of your visit, and hope to see you again soon.
