When I checked in, I was given a room on the freeway side, even though I made a reservation with explicit instructions not to put me on the freeway side of the hotel. It was very very late and I was exhausted. I thought I could sleep through the freeway noise, but I could not. Went to the desk in the morning and requested to move my room. Staff could not be more helpful nor more apologetic. They gave me a new room and I had a terrific night sleep on Saturday evening. Really like this hotel. Thank you for salvaging my stay.

Property Description

This charming Mediterranean style resort overlooks the blue Pacific Ocean in the heart of the lovely beach community of San Clemente. Halfway between Los Angeles and San Diego, it's a serene world away from the faster urban pace of its larger neighbors. San Clemente is a town made for walking. A short stroll will take you past flower-laden street lamps to quaint cafes, unique shops and a beautiful white sand beach. The hotel itself sits up on a small hill. Each of the resort's 72 rooms features a refrigerator, coffee maker, and hair dryer for our guests' convenience. Many of them also offer ocean views and balconies. Or enjoy one of our deluxe rooms with in-room private spas. Our great restaurant J'Adore is a staple of San Clemente and offers relaxed but stylish dining for breakfast, lunch and dinner. If you feel energetic, we have a swimming pool and spa as well as a fine relationship with a local gym to give free access to as many workout opportunities as possible. Several world class golf courses are nearby, as well as tennis courts, bicycle riding, deep sea fishing, sailing, harbor cruises, whale watching and even horseback riding are only a short drive from our front door. Enjoy the serenity, the comfort and the professional and caring staff you'll meet here. And then come back and visit us often!
