Karel, you and your staff at Botticelli Restaurant made me feel like I was eating dinner at home with my family every evening ! The welcoming atmosphere ( as well as magnificent meals ) you have created there made me never bother to eat elsewhere ! I arrived as a customer but left feeling like family ! What a truly magnificent group of people throughout your establishment. Whenever I am brought to Vaughan again I will definitely stay at the Monte Carlo !

My husband and I stayed here for only 8 hours the last week of March. We were placed in a room on the 6th floor. On our 5 hour car drive back home we both began to get itchy. We progressively got more itchy over the next few days. We went to go see our family doctor who confirmed that we had bed bugs bites. They are itchy like mosquito bites (which we do not have this time of year) but they don't leave the red dot in the center. So it's been almost a week and now we both have little scabs all over our arms, legs, ankles, neck and around our ears from scratching the bites so much. Since a week had gone by and I wasn't quite as angry anymore, I called up the hotel to let them know about our experience. I was told by the Manager that it was impossible that I had bed bugs from his hotel and that unless I provided him with a doctor's note to prove that I got the bed bug bites from his hotel, he would not discuss with me further. Then, he decided that he would go up to the room to check when I told him I would write a review to let people know they had bed bugs. He called me back 10 minutes later and told me he checked the room and there was no bed bugs - basically calling me a liar. This upset me because I am not lying and even offered to take pictures of the scabs. He essentially stated that I should have called sooner if this was a valid claim and that he did not believe me. RIDICULOUS! I was upset with him for not even considering reimbursing me for our stay when we did not pay to be in discomfort for 7 days following our stay. When I repeated that I would be writing a review he said he would have his head office call me. They left me a message that they would not reimburse me, and that the room was checked and clean, and indicated that I could call back to get a discount on a future stay. REALLY? I will never be staying at your hotel ever again. And I don't appreciate being called a liar. I'm sure even if they did find evidence of bed bugs, they wouldn't admit it, and I wouldn't be surprised if they come here and say that there was none...not very good customer service if you ask me. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone! « less

I booked a king bedroom online but upon check in one of the front desk agent gave me a room with queen bed. I was ok with that but came across this very nice gentlemen Vinay who gave me a courtesy call to check I was ok. Without me mentioning he understood by just talking to me that I was not happy and upgraded my room to a suite with a king bed. He personally came to move my bags to my new room. I was awed with such brilliant customer service provided by him. For work reasons I keep travelling but never came across someone as courteous as him. The hotel rooms are very nice and clean. Would definitely recommend this hotel to my friends and also tell them to ask for Vinay everytime they visit. « less
