You can't beat this place! I still will be here for another week and would never think of another place to stay. You are away from the noise, but about 3-6 the minutes from about anything. Fantastic receptionists morning, evening, and into the night. You can not get more bang for your buck. If you like big and clean rooms, a pool, noise free nights, and staff that care about the quests and their stay- you will not beat this place. I have rold others on the shuttles to Mayo that they provide several times each day, and now hear others telling how much better this place is compared to others. No restaurant in house, but when your minutes from all the choices in the world- you don't need one. Free breakfast bar with several choices. The kudos is to return in the early evening to soup, rolls, and cookies. BEST stay in Rochester and great value for all you get. Still in 222 and will be here when I have ro come back. EXCELLENT!!!! « less

Came to Rochester for the Mayo Clinic and was looking for a nicely rated hotel outside downtown as we didn't like the environment of downtown Rochester. This was perfect it was right off HWY 63 but far enough the highway in a rural, quiet setting. Hotel rooms were tasteful and clean. Staff was friendly.The reason why I'm giving it 4 stars is for 2 reasons:
1) The office chair in the room had a broken wheel and was very hard to move around in
2) This bothered me a tad, this is an "ECO" hotel meaning that they are trying to be green friendly (translation = save themselves money), you have to keep your room card in the a slot next to the light switch for certain things like the thermostat and certain lights to work. Also, you need to keep an Environment Friendly card on each bed before you leave each day if you want them to change the linen for when you return. Not much of a hassle except that one day I forgot to put the cards on both beds and sure enough they only changed the bed with the card on it.
Overall these inconveniences were minor and I would recommend this hotel. « less

We stayed here as a family of five. Two queen beds and a sofabed in the room. Very nice finishes and attractive look to the hotel. Fairly small workout room but hey I got a workout in. Kids loved the pool, I liked that there was a changing room. The hotel's location is on the far south side of Rochester. A little out of the way. Breakfast was better than average. « less

This was my 2nd stay in 3 weeks at this hotel as a patient at Mayo Clinic. Super clean and very spacious rooms. Queen suite has 2 beds with ample rooms on both sides, couch/hideaway area, desk, drawers, closet, fridge, coffee, iron and board, large roomy bathroom. Breakfast, drinks...soup and cookies in the evening, pool, exercise room, and they have shuttle service several times throughout the day for Mayo Clinic. After the first stay, thought I would stay again...didn't expect the return stay to be so soon, but very pleased to be able to get a room again. In the upcoming visits I plan to stay there again. Very nice staff. Morning of big snow storm; an employee went out to help dig out those who needed to get on the road ASAP. Daily papers available downstairs, computers available in concealed lpbby area, WiFi throughout. Just a great hotel. « less
