Got a flat tire on i95 and had to find a tire repair shop and place to stay overnight. Lucked out by finding the J House. Unbelievably welcoming, comfortable and refreshing. Turned a bad travel experience into an enjoyable overnight stay.
All was well.
The staff is very nice. The room for the most part was nice. The window treatments were dated and ripped. The bathroom is beautiful. The coffee station was a bit antiquated for the price of the room would’ve preferred a French press and some milk in the refrigerator my biggest pet peeve is not being able to control the temperature in a hotel especially when the hotel is charging over $500 for a night. The air conditioner went off twice once at three o’clock in the morning I woke up sweating and I also could not turn the thermostat below 67 which is also irritating. The room was very clean. The bed was a bit too soft for my liking. The restaurant is lovely. The coffee was pretty good in the morning by the breakfast area.
