"As Expected"

Good position, room comfortable with reasonable facilities as expected but cleanliness good have been better i.e sticky door handle,light switch and coffee marks on bedside table.

The hotel is located in a great spot near the river. However, the hotel itself was not so impressive. Despite checking in early, we were given a tiny room at the back of the hotel. We were woken up early on our first morning by lots of noise and discovered we were opposite a room marked Private which was being used as an office to manage the cleaning staff. People were coming and going and chatting loudly in the corridor outside our room. Then when I opened the curtains, I thought it was raining outside, but it was the condensation dripping down the windows. Around the windows was black mould due to all the condensation! I mentioned these problems to the receptionist when we checked out but she didn’t seem to understand what the issue was! Not somewhere I’ll be booking again.
