From the moment we walked in ,we were blown away by the ambiance and friendliness of the hotel. We awoke to a gift Christmas morning on our doorknob to our room, as one of my gifts was to have a Christmas home in Cape Breton. The food was excellent, our room was so lovely. the staff were all amazing,,, We will stay at The Simon whenever we come back home to Cape Breton. Happy New Year staff. The hotel is very conveniently located and offers nice views. It has been renovated recently but still needs some work on the tub and shower, everything else was good overall.
