Things I love about the Oswego are: restaurant in the hotel! Best truffle fries ever and good options for celiac guests. Nice to be able to get bubble bath in the lobby. what's the point of having a lovely tub and no bubble bath?? The soaps, shampoo, conditioner, lotion were 'Curry Cardamom' and smelled wonderful. Good kitchen and fridge/freezer. Best hotel for people coming in on the Blackball Ferry one 1/2 block easy flat walk. What I didn't like: bedroom / bathroom positioning in a two separate guest or 2+ suite means the person in the bedroom has to navigate around the sofabed in the night, with very little room between the end of the bed and the wall table. Less than ideal when the two separate guests are acquaintances rather than family or friends. Server in restaurant was slow to bring bill and did not thank or exchange conversation when I finally went up to the bar to pay, instead continuing the conversation with a bar patron.
