The South is known for good manners, good food, and good people. Huntsville is a no exception. What brings most people here is the space program, but it is also a great hub for access to Chattanooga, Atlanta, and the Appalachians. The roads are easy to travel: well-marked and well maintained, with gorgeous scenery. There's plenty of shopping for bargain hunters. Acquiring lodging is easy, as hotels are plentiful.
