There is so much to do in this little town and it is absolutely picturesque! The people are so friendly and it was easy to get around, we even drove a little over an hour and spent the day at the Grand Canyon. I really want to come back and do the Haunted Tours.

My wife and I enjoy hiking in the National Forests and National Monuments (Sunset Crater, Wapatki, and Walnut Canyon) surrounding the city as well as cross country skiing in winter at the Nordic Village just outside of Flagstaff. Great small town feel. Winter weather, but city was well maintained. Tons of quaint restaurants, shops and tourist sites. But still have access to the more notable big box stores when needed. Close to skiing, Lowell Observatory, NAU and other fun winter activities! Visitors should plan to unplug and enjoy the outdoors when visiting this awesome city.
