We had drinks at a saloon called Empty Pockets. We ate nearby at a local hamburger restaurant. Both were excellent.
Nice place to stop if you want to visit the Petrified Forest and to get some sleep if you've been driving for a while on the I-40
Route 66 trip down memory lane. Jail museum is really good, 50's diner on Navajo road is pretty nostalgic. Wigwam motel is a sight to see
Small town but all conveniences . Restaurants, gas stations fast foods .
