The odor in our room was awful, smelled damp and musty. After returning from a run to the store, our key wouldn't work, I informed the desk staff and she said, well it doesn't work if you put it by your cell phone. It would have been nice to know that prior to it happening. I am very disappointed in our stay. Will not stay here again.

If I'm being honest, I would not stay here ever again. Your front desk people are NOT friendly at all. I feel like they are being paid to be mean! The rooms are doable but not welcoming at all. The shower head in my bathroom was so SMALL that I could barely wash my hair and only then if I moved 10 different ways to get all the soap out! NOT GOOD!

We stayed at the Kahler Inn & Suites because of the proximity to Mayo Clinic. It is literally across the street or you can walk the subway and never go outdoors. It is currently going through a renovation, but they are handling it wonderfully. The bartender, Hunter was great as was the entire staff. Very helpful and friendly. Will definitely stay here again.

We have stayed in Rochester many nights because of appointments at Mayo. This time our usual place was full so wanted a hotel close to Clinic. Chose Kahler Inn & Suites because of location. The bed was better than our normal hotel but that was about it. Your price was more than our other place but our normal hotel includes free parking and a nice free breakfast. I see no reason you need to charge for parking and breakfast.

I found Kahler Suites in a word v poor quality and arrogant pricing. Avoid unless it's exceptional close proximity to Mayo Clinic is a prerequisite. Not clean, not new, staff virtually AWOL. Missing even low end amenities and non functional TV w no front desk response after four attempts. This legacy name is fat and happy.
