Great City, lots of food options, lots of museums and places Veterans can go for free. So it's a great place to visit with family with a veteran card. Hotel location is also near transit options so if people not used to the city congestion come to visit this is a great option.
I live in Ottawa. We stayed here due to the proximity of the Canadian Tire Centre, where we went to see a show.
We visited and participated in a tour of the Diefenbaker which was very interesting and quite an eye opener! Well worth the money. We also enjoyed dinner at The Keg in the Byward Market. A great meal and atmosphere.

The roads are smooth when you drive on them and the people are very welcoming.

Beautiful city, easy to walk around, lovely street cafes. Loved seeing the historic buildings, museums and monuments.
We were there for our granddaughter's graduation. We ate at three or four different restaurants and had great food, friendly waiters and waitresses. Unfortunately we didn't have enough time to sightsee but will definitely stay longer for our next visit.
