The W is an edgy, stylish, highly modern hotel in the heart of the Soma district. They describe themselves as an "electric urban retreat with a refreshing vibe and extraordinary service" which I think is an accurate description. Like all W hotels, the decor is eccentric and artistic. This one features neon lights and a giant jellyfish hanging from the ceiling of the main lobby. The rooms are a bit small, but ergonomic and stylish. The lobby, on-site restaurant, and bars all have an extremely cool vibe (the entire hotel looks like a nightclub), making this a hotel that your group will want to hang out and socialize in, not just sleep in. This is absolutely a great property for a trendy event or party. Their location in Soma is conveniently right next to Moscone Center and close to Union Square, and their prices are very reasonable. I would recommend this property to any group wanting a cool, interesting, and energizing hotel.

Every aspect of this hotel is top notch beginning with the staff that greets you when you first walk in to every employee you meet. The hotel decor is spectacular and clean. The elevators are very fast and super smooth. The rooms are very comfortable with nice amenities. The restaurant and bar were excellent with good choices of food and drink. The quality of food was also excellent. Highly recommend the W San Francisco!
