The unique culture, the European building, food and staff every place we visited were all very friendly.
Our room was clean bed comfortable. We always love to stop by Paillard on St Jean for pastries and sandwiches. There are lots of musicians inside the walls of vieux Quebec, especially in Basse Ville. The Muse de la Civilization has excellent exhibits and a stroll along the Terrasse Dufferin, and the Plains of Abraham are always a must.
The city is beautiful with its quaint old buildings and its stately historical ones. The shops and restaurants are mostly local with very few chains. There are flowers and trees everywhere. A great city for just wandering around on foot.

Loved the tours outside of the city esp the wine tour and the one to the falls. In the city, we thought one dinner was better than the next and the pubs a great way to spend late night The people are lovely and the closure of the street at night was a pleasure
1. We try to eat at "Le Bureau de Poste" every time we come. It's very affordable, upbeat, with enough variety on the menu. 2. Walking up and down the old city; a very quick walk from this hotel
We enjoyed the ease with which we booked the hotel and how amazing all of their staff were. However, we mainly chose this hotel because of its highly advertised outdoor pool and tall floors for city wide views. When it came down to it, we stayed on floor 3, which had no city views at all. The outdoor pool itself was somewhat disappointing given that we thought it was much larger than it actually was. Nonetheless, we had a very good stay and would definitely work with Guillame and his team again.
Easy to get around, although one taxi gave us a run around the city that allowed him to double our fare (from about $7 to $18) from the Tryp Hotel to the waterfront.
