HOTEL INTRODUCTION The Inn at Penn is a Four Diamond Boutique Hotel located in the heart of the University of Pennsylvania campus, adjacent to Philadelphia's prestigious medical, educational, and corporate centers and just blocks from Philadelphia's central business center. We have easy access to I-76, Amtrak and Philadelphia International Airport. ROOMS Guests can now play their own music and movies through TeleAdapt® MediaHubs, which connect electronic devices and laptop computers directly to high-definition LCD televisions. The Inn at Penn is also the first hotel in Philadelphia to feature Apple iPads equipped with Intelity/ICE® software, enabling guests to access hotel services and information on their schedule in multiple languages while relaxing in the comfort of Hilton's renowned Serenity Bed. Each of our beautifully appointed Guest Rooms is equipped with two telephones and voice mail. High speed and wireless internet access is complimentary, and there's a spacious work desk area, creating a convenient 'virtual office' for the discerning business traveller. Each guest room also features the convenience an iron and ironing board, hair dryer and coffee maker. Plush terrycloth robes and luxurious bath amenities provide an extra touch of indulgence while away from home. Room Service is available weekdays 6:30AM to midnight and weekends 7AM to midnight. FUNCTION SPACE 22,000 sq. ft. of function space with a complete conference services staff and audio visual team. High speed and wireless internet is available in all of our meeting rooms. We also have a 24 hour Business Center that is accessible with your room key. All of our public space, soft and hard goods has undergone a complete renovation in 2011. SERVICE CHARGE & GRATUITY: 14.75% of the food and beverage total will be added to your account as a gratuity and fully distributed to servers, and where applicable, bussers and/or bartenders assigned to the Event. 5.25% of the food and beverage total, plus 7% sales tax, will be added to your account as a service charge. This service charge is not a gratuity and is the property of the hotel to cover discretionary costs of the Event. ATTRACTIONS AND AMENITIES The Hilton Inn at Penn is also home to the award winning Penne Restaurant and Wine Bar featuring innovative, regional Italian, cuisine made from the freshest ingredients paired with award winning wine lists. All pasta is made fresh daily by our pasta chefs. Penne Restaurant and Wine Bar is open for Lunch, Dinner, light snacks all-day and continuous bar service.

Green sustainability

Hilton Inn at Penn maintains its focus on environmental responsibility by integrating sustainable features in the guestrooms that are designed to positively impact the guest experience. Fabrics, wallcoverings and bathroom tile contain recycled content; blackout shades and fluorescent lighting support energy efficiency; and WaterSense showerheads save thousands of gallons of water annually. Hilton Inn at Penn has also installed a new guestroom lighting and temperature control system. The hotel is expected to reduce its energy consumption by as much as 30 percent annually with this new technology, which activates in-room lighting, heating and air-conditioning upon guest arrival. The implementation of these innovative features further strengthens the hotel’s ongoing efforts to reduce its overall carbon footprint. Last year, front desk associates received new eco-friendly uniforms that are manufactured from recycled plastic bottles.
