Known as one of the largest museums in the United States, the Philadelphia Museum of Art welcomes nearly one million visitors each year. Perelman building is just across from the main building and is home to new gallery spaces, state-of-the-art visitor amenities and study centers.In another section of the complex is the Rodin Museum, home to the largest collection of Auguste Rodin's works, outside of Paris. The building was a gift from Jules Mastbaum to the city of Philadelphia. Rodin is perhaps most well-known for The Thinker, which is prominently displayed in the courtyard, just outside the museum's front door. Other popular pieces include The Kiss, Eternal Springtime, and The Burghers of Calais.
