"The junk room."

I asked for a late check in and a late check out, so that I would not need to sit in my car four HOURS, waiting for my three pm meeting in a strange town with 100 degree temperature..,.I was promised this, but when I got to the hotel,m I was told to :see the manager in the morning". The lobby was closed and the attendant said I could NOT use a cart, because that would mean getting one from the lobby. So I had to klay my PRESSED clothes over my arm to carry them, causing wrinkles. In side the room ( I TOOK PHOTOS OF EVERYTHING). all of the walls were dirty and smeared with junk. Four light bulbs were out. the smoke detector was taken apart. the refrigerator door was broken and the gasket was ripped and would not allow the door to close. the walls also had big chips and holes. there was mold and dirt in the bathroom. and there was a bulb out and NO VENT. so when I showered, steam filled the room, because even the air conditioner did not cool the room. I tried to iron my clothes from the wrinkles cause by the humidity and no cart. but the iron was totally black with burned on stains and I could not use it to iron my white shirt nor my suit. I call it the Junk Room, because no housekeeping person would think to leave the room in that TERRIBLE condition. including smashed bugs on the wall. I was told to talk to the Manager. and in the morning when I called the front desk to ask if I could leave at two pm instead of 11. as it was promised to me when I booked my room. the Manager INSTANTLY started yelling at me and would not even allow me to speak. So I called the Customer Service line. and I was put on hold,. then..disconnected five different times!. One person heard my issues, but did not even make a Case Number. she told me she could not extend my check out for three hours and the Regional Person would visit the hotel but would not speak to mew, so there was no resolution. I was forced to USE MY POINTS FOR A FULL DAY. just to stay in the room three more hours. I called Customer Service Care AGAIN. and finally a person named JOANNE. .( I think that's her name) was very polite, helpful, informative and opened CASE NUMBER :83315EC026127 She tried everything she could to get me a resolution while I was there. .and she was greatly BETTER than the five other Customer Care persons that hung up on me and lied to me. Joanne was very professional and expressed genuine concern. and gave me a Case Number to refer to. I PAID for a Room that had NOTHING that was promised to me. and then I had to use my points to PAY AGAIN. after being promised a late check out when I booked the room. so I PAID TWICE. and I NEVER RECEIVED ANYTHING THAT I PAID FOR ! Your company should shut down this one hotel. It was very terrible, hostile and JUNKY ! I would like a refund. ! Joseph Abrahams 703 789 5437.

"The entire room was dirty."

The room is dirty. no vents in the bathroom so the room steams after showering, wrinkling my clothes and causing sweating. because the air conditioning does not cool. I have photos of all the dirt and the smashed bugs. and the refrigerator is broken, it won't close, several lights are out, the clock doesn't work, the towel rack is broken down laying on the sink, the iron is dirty. this must be a junk room. someone should call me. Because this should not be a Wyndham hotel. I did not get anything I expected and not what I paid for! And the room has an old mildew smell!

All was quite good. I enjoyed it as did my wife. Good breakfast, but it would have been nice to have regular oatmeal and maybe some danish choices..
