Hotel was under renovation, restaurant was closed. First room was dirty. Pee on the toilet seat hairs on the sheets. They gave us a different room and the bathroom smelled of cigarette smoke, although we were in a dog friendly room the room itself was not as clean as it should be and rundown. Most of the amenities described were not available. Done with Hotel chain. Not worth the money.

As frequent visitor to the dragon boat festivals on False Creek, the Sandman Hotel Vancouver City Centre is great hotel for me. Very clean and updated rooms with excellent wifi. My little dog is allowed to stay and there are plenty of places to walk around. And the walk to the race venue is less than 20 minutes. After a long day of paddling, jumping in the swimming pool is a great way to cool down. Restaurant Moxie a great food for lunch or dinner.
