Hotel Zetta is an excellent find in the
Soma district - one of the most unique properties I have visited. This property is stylized nearly to an extreme. They seem to have a combination theme of "games" (they have a game room sitting atop their lobby) "pop art" (dramatic pieces of loud, trendy art line the hallways and rooms) and "sustainability" (much of the hotel and art within is sustainability-themed, with recycled materials, ect). They are also brand new - only about 8 months old, if my impression was correct. I really liked this hotel, and thought their style was very well executed and subtle enough that it never came off as corny. However, this may not be the property for everyone. Groups wanting serious or simple accommodations should no consider this hotel, as it may be too frivolous. However, for groups that intend to have some fun in the city, this hotel is excellent. I was also very impressed with their sleeping rooms, which were larger and more luxurious than I expected, and more subdued than the lobby.
