We attended a dragon boat regatta over the weekend and our team stayed at the Quality Inn Downtown Inner Harbour. Not only was the location excellent (walking distance to the waterfront and numerous restaurants and attractions) but the staff were friendly and very accommodating. The Quality Inn Downtown Inner Harbour is located just two blocks from Victorias Inner Harbour and within walking distance of Beacon Hill Park, Royal BC Museum, Victoria Bug Zoo, Royal London Wax Museum and the Victoria Conference Centre. Since the COVID-19 has been deemed a pandemic, The Quality Inn Downtown Inner Harbour has enhanced frequency of cleaning and sanitization of the hotel common areas (including door handles, hand railings and countertops) and Employee Areas (Front Desk area, laundry facilities and office areas). The previously mentioned areas are cleaned and sanitized 4 times during the day using prescribed cleaners, followed by a sanitization protocol to reduce the risk of contamination for guests and employees. Items that are not easily sanitized have been removed from common areas and guest rooms to avoid any cross contamination between guests. Our Housekeeping team is also thoroughly sanitizing guest rooms using safety protocols that reduce the risk to themselves and the next guest to use that room. To reduce the risk that our employees get ill, we have added a plexi-glass barrier at the front desk, increased the amount of hand sanitizer available to employees and are enforcing strict protocols regarding coming into work w
