"Good Location"
Overall score3.0/ 5
Have stayed at this location prior to 2019, so familiar area and generally nice hotel. As older adults we had a big issue with the "Sonder" experience. Getting five emails about confirming our reservation, all from different sources and then with threats about not being allowed to get onto and into the property, we stopped when it demanded a photo id and a selfy and decided to chance it with hopefully an inperson contact at the hotel. Fortunately we did encounter a very helpful and pleasant young woman at the desk, who let us in when we explained what our issue was. The lady's name was Chanda, she continued to be most helpful and got us signed into the Sonder site and eventually into our hotel room. Interesting that the emails suggest there would be no one at the "front desk" we would not want to stay in a place with no one stationed at the desk! In the room TV was only accessable if one had a ROKU account, which we had barely heard of and certainly did not have an account with. Again a very helpful lady Siobhan assist us with that issue and tried to help us with a second option, but we decided we did not need to watch TV! Then we wished for some ice only to discover the ice cube trays in the freezer were empty, caught that issue in time to at least have ice by bed time of the first night. Thus our rating of average. Cleanlyness appeared good, some of the curtins and the shower curtins were frayed and perhaps could use replacement. We would stay again, but with better preparation on our part. Good luck.
