The room needed more light. There was one apple left at 8:30 in the morning. Internet had the room listed for $111.00, but the total came to $185.66. That is about 75% in added fees. The room was advertised at one price and we paid much more!

We stayed over night because Hurricane Helene was making driving conditions difficult. The hotel was clean and the front desk was very nice. We had our dog and I like staying at La Quinta hotels because they are dog friendly.

The best thing about our room was the size! Much bigger than most standard rooms. The decor and vibe was good. The gym was great! One of the better ones we have seen. The pool was okay with a nice grilling and patio area. The breakfast was okay. The water pressure is pretty good and the shower is nice size.
We would stay here again.

"Some pros, some cons.."

The best thing about our room was the size! Much bigger than most standard rooms. The decor and vibe was good. However, it definitely needs more attention to details in overall cleaning and furniture and carpet stain removal. The gym was great! One of the better ones we have seen. The pool was okay. Somewhat smaller, but nice grilling and patio area. The breakfast was ok. Most items lacked flavor but they did have good yogurt, bread and topping options. The water pressure is pretty good and the shower is nice size. I wish they wouldn't restrict how hot you can turn it up. Overall, I would rate this slightly above average for room size, shower and gym and slightly below average for cleanliness and breakfast. We would stay here again.
