Located in the greater Augusta area which includes Augusta, Georgia and Aiken and North Augusta, South Carolina, Lookaway Inn is a refuge for guests wishing to escape the monotony of modern life and experience what life was like in a more genteel time. For well over a century, Lookaway Inn has nobly stood overlooking the historic town center of North Augusta. This historic southern mansion is a classic Beaux-Arts jewel from the 1800's. Guests enjoy large elegant bedrooms with spacious private baths, a landscaped courtyard and gardens all accessed by way of grand verandas.
Weddings, engagement parties, rehearsal dinners, anniversaries, birthdays, reunions — any occasion is magical when held at Lookaway Hall. There are elegant meeting and special event rooms that can seat up to 64 in the main house. Larger groups of 150 and more can be accommodated in a combination of our interior spaces and the exterior courtyard and garden areas.

Events at Lookaway Inn can be held outdoors in the garden areas and in the magnificent courtyard which can seat approximately 75 with or without tenting. The indoor event spaces include the dining rooms which seat up to 64 comfortably at round tables set for eight per table. There are other rooms available that can be used for smaller breakout sessions.
