The park near hotel that has a dog park , fitness trail around a pond is nice. Only six minutes away. Good place. Lots of food options near by. Easy access to Interstate 84.
We lived in Danbury for 10 years and enjoy returning to visit friends and old haunts. Danbury is a nice town with good restaurants, entertainment and friendly people.

Chuck's Steakhouse was good and convenient.
During our down time, we went to Bowling 1 to bowl and arcade (great $10 card for 1 hour) and walked the mall. We ate at Chilis (kids loved) and Broken Symmetry (a brew pub that my husband loved). We got snacks at Aldis. We enjoyed the pool so didn't get out too much!
Rosy Tomorrow's was a great place to eat. We enjoyed the food and the atmosphere.
