I liked the smaller elevator that just went to fourth floor. the bigger elevators were too crowded. the room and bed was very comfortable and the temp was cold like I like it! Thank you!

"Very nice hotel easy waLk to the Alamo and Riverwalk"

Very nice hotel literally accross the street from the Riverwalk and one block from the Alamo. Room was nice, roomy and clean. Bed was very comfortable. Very good breakfast with nice variety. Eggs were real. Parking was not free, but cheeper than local lots. Staff was very friendly.

poor, we arrived on 8/1 walked in and noticed how small the beds were, how anyone things that two grown people can fit in these small beds they need to be queens. Day one was fine, except that I had to find someone to get an additional towel. Day two Friday, left the room at around 12:30pm we returned room at around 12:30am and noticed that the room was not cleared trash not taken beds not made and old used towels in the room, with no fresh towels. I called front desk and advised them of no room service and no fresh towels left, front desk told me that they had run out of towels, "really" so Saturday morning I woke up early to go down stairs and pick up fresh towels and again report it to front desk person. On Saturday we were getting ready to go to family wedding maid service came around 12pm, we asked them to come back as we are still getting ready, we left hotel at around 3pm to family wedding. Saturday night when I returned at around 1:30am from wedding once again noticed no room service, same old towels from that morning and trash not removed and beds not made. I was tired and I just wanted to take a shower so I used an old wet towel form the morning. Sunday morning went back down to front desk told them once again no room service and needed fresh towels. Later that day on Sunday I say at around 10:00am my son in law was leaving the room to get coffee and in front of the door was a large plastic bag with towels, he picked up the bag and put it in the room. When I came back from breakfast I say around 11:00am I noticed the bag in the room and asked what this was he said it was left in front of the door, I said that was strange as no one knocked on the door because my son and daughter were still in the room. I truly didn't think any of it, but again no room service, later that day I decided to empty the bag with fresh towels and place the old towels in the bag, this is when I noticed what they placed in the bag once again only 3/bath towels 5/small wash towels 1/medium size towel and 6/floor towels, this really upset me, thinking that someone is trying to make a point as I complained about their service. I did take photo's and shared them with Operations Manager Toby Leeper, she could not understand why these types of towels were left, she was very apologetic and very responsive, she was very understanding and offered to take one day off our stay. I don't know about you'll but I work hard for my money and expect good service when renting or staying at places let your hotel. thank you.
