Local folks were friendly and hospitable. The town has everything you need. Local restaurant overlooking the Mississippi River was excellent, great views, service and food.

The river, which provides a great walking path with pickleball courts, the restaurant choices are great. I had full meals at the Candlelight (right on the riverbank), Rastrelli's Italian, and the Mexican restaurant near the hotel. There is great history in Clinton with the Curtis Mansion and the Lumber Museum. Eagle Point Park is amazing as well as the city swimming pool. The city is very well cared for. I didn't feel insane when out shopping or at the Showboat Theatre. It's a lovely town.
The river and parks are wonderful. Shopping was adequate as well as restaurant choices.

We were in town for The Wedding Singer at the Showboat Theater. It was fabulous. We ate at Nora's before leaving town and had a very good breakfast and great service
Stout brew pub was amazing! Very close to the hotel. Excellent service and food!!
