We were there for some specific shopping but previously have enjoyed the Performing Arts Center and the Bergstrom Mahler Glass Museum in Neenah. I still want to see the Houdini Museum and do some shopping along College Ave.

I really like the variety of sports bars and restaurants on College Avenue. Waverly Beach was really fun. It felt like a safe town.

There were many things for tourists to do! We visited Lambeau Field with a tour. We also visited Harley Davidson Museum as well. Good options were diverse. Appleton itself is compact, everything nearby.

Appleton is a neat town, full of chains, so if you like the comfort of home, it's got it all! The Fox Valley Mall is really fun, with lots of stores...it felt like a blast to the past! It's a small town with big city feel and you can get around quickly and easily.
We were only there for a short time. Our grandson played in a basketball tournament at the Champion Center, a really nice facility.
I like downtown Appleton. It was quaint and clean.
