A nice little town!
The staff were friendly and very helpful! The room was clean and comfortable! My parents lived there and had a daughter in Salem. I was born later in Indianapolis. In the 1950's I visited my grandmother on N. Water Street. My father left the family farm outside Salem and worked his way through college and medical school. He had a medical office on the second floor of a building on the Square. It is nice to see that some of the architecture on the Square has been preserved.

Very friendly town. Visited Walnut Ridge Tax and Kennels. Beautiful office and dog kennels. Teresa and Jeff Smith, the owners are so faithful to their community. Impeccable dog kennels, loving care to each and every one of their dogs. We would like to publicly thank them for their warm hospitality.
