Looking for an affordable hotel just minutes from Downtown and the Riverwalk? The Howard Johnson Inn & Suites Central is the place to stay. The hotel is just off of 1-10 and while it is an exterior hotel it is interior. All entry doors face the inside pool area and the windows are on the parking lot side of the hotel protected by shrubs. The pool/courtyard area is very inviting and a small grill is available for cookouts. The rooms are very spacious whether you book a King or two doubles you will have more than enough room. The hotel has many offerings including a fitness center, laundry, in room safes, ceiling fans, flat screen TV, sleeper sofa, Microwave/refrigerator and 3 Kitchenette Suites which are great for Extended Stay. Breakfast is extended complimentary daily to hotel guests. The Staff is very friendly and ready to assist you with finalizing your arrangements.
