The downtown area near Market and Patrick St. And the river walk park was beautiful.
Historic buildings downtown, great old movie theater. Had tapas at Isobel's and good ice cream 4 blocks down the main street, wide candy selection there too.
Many wonderful stores, restaurants and interesting architecture. The proximity to Civil War Sites is amazing. The Civil War Hospital Museum provided a great and educational experience.
We have never been here before. It was nice.

I was visiting my sister who is in assisted living. We ate at the new Indian restaurant named Anwal, the Italian named Ricci and the Mexican. The music in the gazebo was a strong draw.

I lived in Frederick for sixteen years. When I return it's like old home week. I always visit Spring Ridge to see my friends and former neighbors. Seeing beautiful familiar scenery and dining in one of the familiar restaurants is thrilling. I went to a meeting this time with an organization I'm involved with. Meeting was at Dutch's Daughter, a superb restaurant with lovely atmosphere.
Convenient
Lots of great restaurants and shopping. My husband left his dress clothes at home and the desk clerk at the Hilton Garden Inn suggested Men's Wearhouse. Not only was my husband able to find the clothes, but they hemmed the pants and steamed the shirt so they'd be ready in the morning.

Frederick is an adorable historic city with lots to see, do and eat :-) Christmas time is the best time to come because of the celebrations. The historic houses of worship tour is an event my family has attended each year since I was a girl. There are other events as well.
