'There's some kind of complex people living here seem to have. Everyone forwards their mail to a Las Vegas address. What's wrong with a Paradise PO?
A sad, but in a way very true, fact was thus stated by comedian Seth Rogan on Saturday Night Live, while discussing the state of being that Paradise, Nevada is often thrown in, despite being probably the best known part of the land in terms of tourism in America.

That prompts us to answer the most fundamental of questions that attentive readers are likely to come up with “ What is this Paradise? Where is it, exactly?

Well, to put it very simply in a bid to dispel all the clouds and fog of confusion, Paradise, Nevada is an unincorporated community that is most widely known as the Las Vegas Strip

Makes sense, now? Sure, it does!

So, what millions of tourists know of as Las Vegas Strip is actually a community that is officially known as Paradise, Nevada. So, a trip to Las Vegas would probably be reduced to a trip to Paradise, if you are ready to suck all the sense of thrill from it, that is.

Mockery aside, Paradise is a beautiful place to spend your well-earned holidays. Filled to the bursting point with casinos, grand hotel buildings, world-class restaurants and shopping centers, it is one place where you can find most pleasurable things in life that money can buy you.

Before you make a trip here, however, we intend to present you with a quick guide of sorts to help you understand many classes and grades of hotels in Paradise in a better light.

Fairly Priced Hotels in Paradise

Paradise, Nevada is home to the most number of hotel and resort establishments per square mile of land in the United States. It is a city that runs solely on tourism and hospitality business with over 1,500 registered establishments that employ over 80,000 employees.

Considering these mind-boggling numbers, it should be pretty clear to sincere readers that Paradise is one place where it will never be difficult to find just the sort of a hotel that your requirements demand.

If you are looking for a hotel that will not cripple your tour budget by presenting you with an unexpected heavy check of bill when you check-out, you should certainly give one of many cheap hotels here, in Paradise.

Granted that these are somewhat inferior in terms of comfort levels or in-house services “ but that's only to be expected in return of great deals they offer you.

The Stratosphere Hotel & Casino is one such place where you can always hope to find a vacant room available at a great deal. The hotel is reputed among Paradise regulars and provides all the basic amenities guests are likely to expect. A proper in-house casino makes the whole deal more entertaining, too.

El Cortez Hotel & Casino is another very similar hotel to the Stratosphere in terms of style, amenities and casino sophistication.

To up the ante just a touch, you can also try the Circus Circus Hotel in Paradise.

Paradise Regained: Luxury Hotels

In his epic poem Paradise Regained, John Milton argues that finding a paradise may be quite easy, keeping it in your grasp is the tougher part.

Same can be said about luxury hotels in Paradise. There are countless five-star properties in Paradise that regularly attract the who's who of entertainments, business, politics, arts and other walks of life. Tourists who have got deeper pockets and a penchant for expensive tastes can certainly take solace in one of these Paradise hotels that literally act like oases in the middle of a desert of Nevada.

Aria Group operates quite a few luxury establishments in Paradise, but the original Aria Hotel & Casino is still the top favorite for Las Vegas frequenters.

To join the party, the Westin has taken the competition head-on and built an unbelievably majestic artificial lake, only to build a more majestic lakeside resort by its side “ the Westin Lakeside.

Similarly, Bellagio Towers and the Palazzo are well known for their excellent hospitality methods.

Finding Hotels Near Airport in Paradise

Paradise, administratively regulated under the Clark County Nevada is the actual host of the Las Vegas Valley Int. Airport (now known as ˜McCarran International Airport').

The airport is located at a short distance of 2-4 miles from the Las Vegas Strip in Paradise. The trip from the airport to the city won't take you longer than 5 minutes, and hence, it does not stand at all to reason to invest your precious time to look for cheap hotels (any hotel whatsoever, to be blunt) near the airport. The best strategy for tourists in such a situation is to drive straight downtown into Paradise and find a suitable hotel. In any case, you will always be just a 5-minute drive away from the airport!

Things to Keep in Mind When in Paradise

Paradise, Nevada is a beautifully charming city that bears all the hallmarks of attractiveness that Las Vegas has come to be known for.

From imposingly tall hotel buildings to casino floors that occupy thousands of square feet of land, everything in Paradise is grand, majestic and in a way, intimidating.

Hence, when you are in Paradise, you need to keep reminding yourself to not get swayed or bogged down by this imposing nature of the city. Keeping yourself on your toes will never hurt, though!

Most Suitable Time to Visit Paradise

Paradise, on account of being located in the middle of the Nevada Desert, is a perpetually parched city. There is severe dearth of natural rainfall, turning the weather in these parts extremely dry and hot.

The situation gets even worse in summer when temperatures soar high and mighty, bringing the tourism business a touch below the par. These months, however, are marked by falling room tariffs as Paradise hotels try to cope with the curtailed flow of tourists.

Winter brings more agreeable weather and less agreeable hotel prices.
