"Majestic and the air is crisp and clean"

Ever heard the expression “It'll take your breath away?” Well let me say that the White Mountains of New Hampshire will literally take your breath away. They are majestic and the air is crisp and clean. If you love the mountains then these are defiantly the ones you must see. The quiet still atmosphere, the little villages tucked away in the mountains with their unique merchandise. If you love to go skiing, hiking or snowmobiling then the slopes are perfect and the trails are adventurous. Just going up in the cable car to the top of the mountain is an adventure alone if you don't ski, you go up into the white clouds and the view on the top is beyond beautiful. The Flume Gorge and The Basin are great places to visit. The flume is the perfect hiking trail to the rickety steps that takes you to a waterfall in between the mountains. The Basin is a beautiful river with huge rocks sculpted from years of erosion of rushing waters and pools of the clearest and crispest water you ever seen. Play in the snow, enjoy the creeks and waterfalls, the home cooked food, the friendly welcoming people and old fashioned stores. It's the perfect getaway.
