Our brief stay at State Plaza Hotel was excellent in all ways. The staff was exceedingly polite, friendly and helpful. Our room, a king suite, was terrific—clean and spacious. And the location was perfect, central to all we did. We will definitely return.

State Plaza Hotel is in a favorable location for visiting the western end of the National Mall and the Kennedy Center. While it's not a new property, it's clean and comfortable, has a nice cafe and a lower rate than many chain hotels in the Foggy Bottom area. Easy access to many restaurants around GWU.
