The check in process was seamless and I expected my stay to continue along that experience. I was very disappointed with the room. The bathroom had dust and water spots and the sink was stopped up. It took a while for the water to drain out after washing my hands or face. Very disappointed. Both of those things made me wonder to what extent the rest of the room was actually cleaned.

I'm giving the Hyatt Regency Savannah just an average review. Though all of the staff that work there I would give an A+. I felt the property was just meh (bathroom tiny compared to the room and bed just so so comfort wise). Considering the price of a room, it should be better.

room looked good. wife commented that there was hair on the shower stall and dust "everywhere". some of the corners in the bathroom were a little crusty brown. that's about all that was "bad". I always like staying on the river and watching the boats come in. Sabrina at the front desk was very. In fact, all the staff was (?were) very nice.

Staff was not knowledgeable of there respective departments.. I asked about the valet parking, ( let valet take my car after five pm Saturday, I was told that I would only be charged two days, rest of Saturday, all day Sunday and up until I checked out at 10 am Monday ) instead my card was charged three days.. Staff who cleaned rooms acted as if they did not want to pick up or give us clean towels.. I asked them if I needed to put dirty towels outside, person said well you can keep them in the bathroom on the floor.. I have been in the Hyatt hotel in other states, but I was really disappointed with this one.. plan on coming back to Savannah, but not to your hotel..

Although it was just one night our experience with your hotel gave us the confidence to come back and stay there again for a longer length of time. We use this trip as a stop off point on our way to the airport to go home. We've learned this time around there is too much to do so we will be back.

Hotel clerk asked if we wanted to upgrade to a river view room and we are glad we did. We had a corner room with panoramic views of the river and River Street. It was a great to see all the BIG ships go buy our room. They do go all night so it might wake you up but we loved it. They also had an outdoor terrace on the floor that faced the bridge which was also great at night. Would definitely stay there again and probably ask for the same room. The only reason I did not give it a five rating is because of the cost to valet the car in the garage.
