The Westbrook outlets are within minutes if you desire shopping. All major stores (CVS, Walmart etc.) are within 10-15 minutes. the art museums in New London and Mystic are excellent and tours in Essex are close. Great shoreline area with many advantages.

Going to Bill's Seafood down the road for an informal dinner on the patio. The outlets a few blocks away (limited stores, but name brands).
